Getting to give through an organization that is closely connected to the hospital we serve at is such a special experience. Platelets are a specific need for all patients going through blood cancers (ie. leukemia and lymphoma), and we love being able to support in this way.

Cookies for Kids at Heart
The Atlanta area Chick-fil-As take one month every Fall to promote their 6-count Chocolate Chunk Cookies to raise funds in support of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Kids at Heart program.Â
We participate every year by purchasing cookies for the offices of our surgeons. We get to show our appreciation of their partnership with a bonus of supporting this local cause.
