Summit Surgical Partners loves to find ways to give back to our community. Through sponsoring and participating in the Cherokee County Chick-fil-A 5K, we are helping make an impact on our schools and Special Olympic Athletes.

Donating Platelets to Atlanta Blood Services

Getting to give through an organization that is closely connected to the hospital we serve at is such a special experience. Platelets are a specific need for all patients going through blood cancers (ie. leukemia and lymphoma), and we love being able to support in this way.

Cookies for Kids at Heart

The Atlanta area Chick-fil-As sell their 6-count cookies every September to support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Kids at Heart program. We participate every year by purchasing cookies for the offices of our surgeons. We get to show our appreciation of their partnership with a bonus of supporting this local cause.

In 2023, Chick-fil-A raised $100,000 which fully funded the Kids at Heart program for 2024.
